LJCL Grand Prix 5 - Sunday February 26th – Sandymount Hotel, Dublin 4
The fifth competition of the season takes place on Sunday January in the Sandymount, Dublin 4. It will be a 6 round competition and players will have 15 minutes each per game. All equipment will be provided. The competition is aimed at those 14 and under (as of January 1st 2011) and prizes will also be awarded to those who perform best for their age (Under 14, 12, 10 & 8).
Registration – 2pm-2.25pm
Rounds (1-3) – 2.30pm-4pm
Break – 4pm-4.10pm
Rounds (4-6) – 4.10pm-5.40pm
Prize giving will follow the last round
Entry fee is €10. There is a family discount, 3 or more siblings for €20.
Players must be members of the Leinster Junior Chess League. Players can sign up to the LJCL on the day. Membership for 2011/12 costs €5.
Entries will be taken on the day but it is recommended that you enter beforehand as there are a limited number of places available. Entries can be sent by text: 0879615227 or by going to the Entry Form Section. Please include the child’s name, date of birth & club/school.

The fourth competition of the season takes place on Sunday January in the Red Cow Moran Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin 22. It will be a 6 round competition and players will have 15 minutes each per game. All equipment will be provided. The competition is aimed at those 14 and under (as of January 1st 2011) and prizes will also be awarded to those who perform best for their age (Under 14, 12, 10 & 8).

November 13th – Stillorgan Park Hotel
